Latechurch is headed up by two young guys Garnet Swann and Andrew Pearce

Garnet is married to Kirsty and they have two kids, Noah and Amelia. Garnet grew up in Brisbane but spent some time in Sydney at theological college. Garnet enjoys running but thinks about it more than he actually does it!

In his spare time you'll more likely find him playing with his kids or in a café enjoying a coffee. “What I love about Latechurch is the relationship factor and our focus on the Bible,” says Garnet.

“I think it's great because it's the sort of place I can bring a friend along and not feel embarrassed”

Andrew is married to Martine and is the proud father of two sons Oliver and Miles. Born in Perth he’s done time in Melbourne, Gold Coast, Newcastle and Sydney (where he spent time at theological college) before settling in Brisbane. Like Garnet, Andrew tries running occasionally but has decided swimming is more his style.

If life was perfect you’d find him surfing at the beach with the family. But since it’s not, when he has the chance you’ll find him in a café, swimming at Newmarket pool or watching cheesing B grade action movies. “It’s pretty clear when you turn up to latechurch that the bible’s really central to what we’re on about. And it’s shared within a relaxed and casual service.”
